Last Spring we took Ferris to "The Farm" for a try at herding:

Ferris' First time to see Sheep.

After a couple of hours rest, we brought him back to see what
he had learned:

Going Best of Breed at Jefferson County Kennel Club Sept 2008

Ferris fulfills his early promise by going WD, BOS and BOW his first two days out, January 26 and 27, 2008 at the St. Charles Kennel Club shows, Lake St. Louis, Missouri, shown by our good friend, Cheryl Murphy. We anticipate a brilliant career for this handsome young dog! Look for him in the obedience ring this spring and summer as we let him grow up a little bit before we get serious about the breed ring.

Ferris, whose registered name is "Ch. Winbucks Mosaic Wheel D'Fortune, CD", is by Ch. Coedwig Carbon Blue ex Ch. Winbucks Van Lear Rose (by Ch. Cardiridge Red Hot Lover out of Ch. Winbucks Lyric). Ferris was bred by Dave & Cathy Porter and is from their very first litter of Cardigan Welsh Corgis. We appreciate the Porters letting us take their Moose home with us! He is funny, smart, easy to live with, easy to train, and has a temperament to die for - a true Cardigan in every sense of the word.
